 2010 – 2011  Microsoft game studio contractor Redmond, WA

Contract 3D Modeler Worked under contract for Microsoft Games studio on Microsoft Flight as a 3D modeler on the aircraft team.  Modeling and texturing new and updating old aircraft models for Microsoft Flight.  Developed new and efficient methods of painting livery’s.  Extensive use of Vray for texture baking and developing lighting.

2008 – 2009  Microsoft Aces game studio contractor Redmond, WA

Contract 3D Modeler Worked under contract for Microsoft Aces studio on Flight Sim 11 as a 3D modeler on the aircraft team.  Modeling and texturing new and updating old aircraft models for the next product in the Flight Sim line.

2005-Present  Freelance 3D Modeler

Freelance modeling, UVW Mapping and texturing of mid to low-poly historically accurate 3D vehicles.  Extensive use of highly detailed and realistic mapping for texture baking.  Many projects sold as Flight Sim FSX 3rd part add-on’s. Worked within very aggressive timelines to complete projects and always brought my models in on, or before due date. 

2004 – 2007   Red Gypsy    Animation Glendale, CA 

3D Modeler and Animator 3D Modeler for several TV shows and movies.  Duties included modeling set assets, hero models, and assisting animators.  Modeled realistic hi-poly objects for TV shows including Monster Garage, Monster House, Modern Marvels, Biker Buildoff.  All models accurately represented its real-life counterpart and also worked in a way that the animator could use to demonstrate to the audience how the real thing worked.  Provided texturing and animation work as needed.

2003-2005  1C Maddox Games  Moscow,  Russia

Freelance 3D Modeler Freelance 3D Modeler working on a Per-Project basis on flight sim assets.  Modeled and textured many historically accurate, low-poly 3D aircraft including the Spitfire, P-38 Lightning, Japanese Ki-43, and many others.
